Rescue Remedies are a dog rescue group (www.rescueremedies.co.uk)
They re-home dogs in London and the South East. They don’t get any government funding, so, as you can imagine, times are tough.
They operate in a slightly different way to the larger organisations in that they put dogs into “foster care” in real homes, and then work tirelessly to find dogs a “forever home”.
As they work this way, they do tend to take on some of the more difficult dogs, those that wouldn’t cope so well in the kennel system.
All the people involved work on a purely voluntary basis, and to rescue from them, the only cost is to pay for the dogs inoculation’s and the cost to spay/castrate the animal prior to it being re-homed.
We are holding a Sponsored Dog Walk to raise some funds (and have some fun!)
