I’m back, i left Cass there & the vet is going to call me later to let me know what’s going on. He wants to be absolutely certain to rule out everything else so he’s going to x ray her and manipulate the joint to look for any movement in the cruciate, then depending on what he finds he will call & tell me if it needs to be operated on.
He is reluctant to go in if it’s not cruciate because he has an ‘If it isn’t broke don’t fix it’ approach to these things but at the same time if there is any indication that it is what i suspect then i said i’d rather it was done because i don’t want it to end up being an ongoing issue that i have to keep going back with.
Not really anything more i can say at the moment until i know more but i’ll update again. How strange does it feel coming home with an ’empty’ dog lead in your hand?? :-\
