Rough, that’s what I meant. It was obviously a spur of the moment buy … which is never a good idea. I mean when you get a car you shop around. Why not when you get a dog? Are they worth less? I sometimes wonder.

And if that had happened to a friend of mine, I too would called her/him a loss worse than ‘thick’. Sorry Nala, not having a go at you … just at the situation (errrm and your friend, but that’s too late now).

I just hope the puppy can have a relatively happy life now. But sounds to me that is very dependant on how much money your friend is prepared to spend at the vets. And I am not even taking possible ‘hidden’ ailments/genetic disorders into account.
