I posted a while back about the white spot on Izzy’s tail
    https://www.resources.dogclub.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=3701.0

Well now its changing, the white hairs are very brittle and snapping off, leaving a bald patch.  Its not noticeable unless the hairs are brushed up, like when she’s been sitting on it and the hair lies at a funny angle.  Here’s some pics

    With the hair parted

    And how it looks usually

Notice the change of colour in her tail too, its very brown, usually happens with her moult but it doesn’t seem to be going  ??? :-\

    hi,

could it be ringworm ?  the patch under hair on top reminds me of seeing it before.

also just read a little snippet about some breeds coat turning grey just before they blow coat – with the brown tinge too could it be the funny weather or maybe season (cant remember if shes done) doing wiggly things to her moult ?

re: brithmarks – they are malformed pigment so perhaps it is this ?

i take it she isnt itching it and theres no scabs/discharge etc ….

She’s not spayed, last season was end june/beginning july

None at all, she doesn’t bother it.  Its also right at the point where she had cold water tail a few months ago

if it at the point of the cold water tail episode then it could well be that some nerve response happened…that can take …months for full blood flow to come back..i would up her fruit so that the zinc in her diet gets utilised more..
