Can anybody tell me if bassett hounds require any tests before breeding and if so what tests

Hi Bec
There are two bleeding diseases found in the Basset Hound. One is vonWillebrand’s Disease (vWD) and the other is Canine Thrombopathia (CTP). The two diseases are different and a Basset may have either or both in varying degrees. Both need testing for they also need eye tests at the same time she can be checked for Ectropia

thanks val that really helped i couldnt find anything re health tests on any sites.
