Benson finally decided to get his feet wet this weekend. One small step but I reckon he@ll be swimming within 4 weeks 🙂

Am I right or wrong in thinking your clumber has a different shaped snout to Bev’s…? or do i need to put my glasses on?

glad to see someone else calls them snouts lol !!

yep – his muzzle seems alot finer to me – he seems a less clumpy dog all over.  however, his thoughts must be quite similar because i can see Bev’s dogs “looks” in him – particularly in pic 1 !!

i have a similar pic of ami to that last one but whereas he looks wide awake and amazing, she just looks like a crazy lady lol !!! 😀

Glad you all enjoyed the pictures.

Both Jago & Benson are from working stock (seeing as they’ve got the same parents that’s stating the obvious really :-[ ;D) and are bred, in general, to be a bit lighter boned than there show brothers & sisters.

Jago is quite a well built dog and was weighing in at 32kg before I put him on a bit of a diet. Not to lose weight but to tone him up and develop muscle.

Benson, at nine months, is a bit lighter boned than Jago and a bit longer in the body. His head is on the small side and his snout is a bit pointy. But I thought that of Jago when he was that age. Strange how their whole body shape can change within a month at that age and in two months time I may be thinking “his front legs are longer than his back legs and his head is to big”. In the end eerything usually balances out 🙂

his feet were a whole shoe size different last time i measured – i mean … how totally inconvenient !!!!!
