Bev – Road Works

Bev when you came to visit do you remember those road works outside our house, well guess what they are still here and I am still unable to use the path to our house.

I wonder what the record is for the longest standing road works

I’d apply for a refund on my council tax  ;D that will move them

Nice barriers though  😉  We’d have a couple of pylons and some 2 be 4’s thrown on the ground  ::)

Funny enougth there is a large pile of them on the grass to the side of the house, you could always come and help yourself  ;D

Yes Suz I have rang them, the road works are going on all over the area as they are replacing old metal pipes for new plastic ones.  I will be glad when they have finished.

They are doing something like that down a road near us, think those house owners feel the same. Most of the houses dont have driveways down there so on road parking – except they cant because theres huge holes and barriers everywhere!!

Well those road works are still there and they show no signs of being completed any time soon, it’s now been around 3 months since they first appeared  :boooo:

Those darn plastic barriers fall over then cars run over them and they make such a noise that it sets the  minpins off barking.
