Hi,
I took the “behaviour specialist” to mean somebody who has a sound knowledge of the breed behind them – not nessesarily one which only does border collies – I am not sure if this is how its meant.
There are alot of “behaviourists” out there who can and do walk away from border collie problems (i imagine they walk away from other breeds too i just hear about these ones) because of the particular nature of the breed and how really difficult it can be to bring them round for any number of reasons so I think it is fair to want someone with reasonably specialist knowledge / passion that isnt going to give up on you after 5 minutes 🙂Â
