ive just noticed that stan has torn a nail completly off, all that is left is the pink bit (the quik, not sure on spelling) no idea when or how he did it.
I have cleaned it, dryed it, put some cream on it, wrapped it in tissue then put a sock over his foot so hopefully stop him chewing at it. i was going to bath in salt water then dry and re-dress 3 times a day and keep him on lead walks if dry.

anything i should/nt do or something else i should be doing?

Too much fussing and far to much cream  ;D If he’s not licking it leave it unwrapped if he licks it stick the sock on overnight
    He will live

    lol thanks val 😀
how long will it take for the claw to grow back?

    #88144

Shouldnt be long before its grown enough to cover the quick – but while your at it check his other nails long nails are much more prone to ripping off than short ones.

his other nails look fine so i guess its just waiting for that one to grow out 🙂
