I’ve been reading about breeds for a while now, loved the clumber description because it seems so accurate, that they are long, heavy-bodied and low-stationed!
May 21, 2008 at 2:20 pm #101454kizkiznobiteMemberlook at ami on sofa vid – she 17 inches high but look at the length – she more than half fills it and it a big sofa 😀 we meet folk with dogs like GSD etc – and they say ooo i thought they bigger than that 😀 uhuh how heavy is your dog? errrm about 28k uhuh …addsome ;D they are the ‘largest’ spaniels – not the tallest but the largest 🙂 when one hits you at speed? you land on floor 😀 sam is now 36K he niot tall – he about 18 inches – tanks ;D
May 21, 2008 at 4:23 pm #101455*Lassie*MemberVery good looking tanks :-* ;D
I love them OH not keen ::)May 21, 2008 at 6:48 pm #101456AnonymousGuesthehe !
i always get this when I meet bev’s dogs – they’re “little” – like my william perhaps a little taller to me 🙂
then one lays down and takes up the whole sofa like ami in that pic and you think oh no actually they are big after all – they seem a sort of “tardis” that is small when standing and widens and lengthens considerably on lying down !!
bev and i had this very chat earlier in the week !!
