so, how are they (the great nation of islam) getting past the whole ‘dogs are unclean’ thing?  Does every guide dog also have to be a Saluki?

and I’m not just pickin’ on the muslims…..didja know that it was only during my lifetime that the great and sanctimonious catholic church officially recognised that the world was NOT flat!

We do not have to go back very far in history to see how positively progressive some of us non moslems have been around the world…… apartheid, pogroms, genocide etc………

So, instead of rolling our eyes we should all appreciate this for what it is; a GIANT step which will hopefully breakdown some of the existing wall between cultures/religions on both sides………. :agree:

yep agree…it is a huge step…it a break through for deeply ingrained cultural barriers…i remember well the un understood result and the abuse i got outside the veg shop when i mis-cued ami to a nasty….
