A colleague at work, his mother is in hospital (I think) no, I am sure she is in hospital.  She has a yorkie or westie (can’t remember) Sorry head full of other stuff – anyhow his mum is getting an operation and will be imobile for about 6 weeks or so.  She doesnt want to put dog in kennels for that length of time obviously.

Everyone in family works full time or lives too far away to help.  Dog is getting passed around a lot – does anyone know of any organisations that help.  She is quite elderly and ideally would want someone to foster the dog for a month or so until she is able to get about and look after him properly.

I recall stuff from college about helping hands or something like that but just cant remember….  Braindump at moment.

There is an organisaton called The Cinnamon Trust who might be able to help.

Yes the Cinnamon Trust is there for that very reason so they should be able to help out.

I’ve fostered dogs for elderly people I know  a few times, but CT have lots of registered fosterers around to help – great organisation.
