my friend (the one with bobby the greyhound) has just got herself a new dog (saluki cross). She’s been wanting one for a while but when she found out about this one she said yes straight away (not what i advised) but she’s got him now. He was found near where gypsy’s have settled and was riddled with flea’s. He is also skin and bones and humps any girl that comes his way. (still got his bits)
The vet seemed to think he was 5-6 years old but as you can see from the pic’s he’s anything but 5-6. Minus a bit of yellowing his teeth are still pretty much white.

    Poor thing is skinny 😮
A few good feeds and Tila to teach him his manners and he will be a nice dog 😉

Tila was a very good teacher – luci too. He only tried it twice with tila because she told him what for from the start but luci was her usual gentle self so he kept trying it on with her. Benji too forgot about him bless him. He was very excited around benji and tried to hook himself onto him but benji was having none of it! 🙂

he’s very sweet – not responcive at all but he just needs time. :-*

His name’s jake ;D and needs some behaviour advise.

When they are out on a walk if he see’s a dog in the distance he just stops and wont move – treats, toys, calling him nothing will move him. We went up to pets at home today and he walked 5 steps into the shop froze and lay down. She used to reasure him but isn’t doing that now she just stands and waits for him – except he wont get up unless she walks back out the shop. She really needed to get some food so she took dodge n i had a hold of tila and jake. We walked back out the shop and back in and managed to get pretty far in before he froze and lay down. After a while both him and tila were just standing getting tickles of people – which he has no problem with at all. Any advise of what she can do?

not advice on what they can do exactly – but i think they have slippery sort of floors don’t they? and sighthoundy types (and rough collies i think  ;D ) don’t seem to like slippery floors. could it be anything to do with that?

no it’s not that – they have tiles in the kitchen and wood floor in the living room and he’s got no problem with that. :-\
