He’s no better this evening :'( didn’t even get up off the sofa when we got in, but did a little tiny wag :-\
He was sick in the van this morning and went for one walk – was enjoying himself but tired quickly ( no surprise I guess) and then slept rest of the day. He has had a few drinks.
Going to vet tomorrow at 5 :-\
Dog walker (ex vet nurse) thinks his glands are up in his throat and thinks he might have scratched his throat internally??Don’t like my smelly Relly feeling low :'( he going all skinny :'(

February 11, 2009 at 11:06 pm #86097xtineMemberJust checked his throat. I held his chin in my hand and ran other hand down towards his chest. There is a large disc shaped lump half way down… Could it be a blockage or is it a swollen gland? Is def new and not normal.

February 12, 2009 at 6:01 pm #86100xtineMemberwe’re back 🙂 LOVE our vet :-* he is SO nice and great with pathetic Fritz 😀
Once Fritz knew where we were he was soon accepting me giving him treats from the bowl in reception ::) >:D
He was good with the vet, was trying to escape and acted so pathetic, little wimp ::) Vet was very good with him
He is concerned about the temp but thinks is nothing major, had a good investigation and says his glands are up a bit. Has given him some metacam and has more for the next few days plus some Noroclav for a few days too…
He got more treats on his way out and has come home and eaten a big bowl of fish and is now shouting at neighbours as they make their way home thru the snow…. all is back to normal 😀We had a chat about boosters…. vet doesn’t like to ‘just give’ so we are going to titre soon and see what his antibodies are like and go from there…. ;D ;D
Will call vet in the morning for a progress report
I’m much happier…. now for a large takeaway and a glass off wine, or is that a large glass of wine…?
🙂This is the vets… http://www.hydeparkvet.co.uk/
