please dont giggle but does anyone know if bitches that have been speyed after a season can have hormone levels alter again when their next season would have been ?
can they have false pregnancies or other type things that could alter their hormones in a similar manner to a season ?
thank you 🙂

If they had any ovarian tissue left in – including stuff that might not have been in the expected place – then they will get the same hormonal stuff as an unspayed bitch.October 22, 2008 at 9:20 pm #70221October 22, 2008 at 9:44 pm #70222MudgieMember
nacho has been very interested in a bitch that was speyed – and normally unless dog is in season he doesnt even know other dogs are on planet ::)October 23, 2008 at 8:21 am #70223AnonymousGuest
ooo – any idea if she was speyed in or close to season or false preg ?October 23, 2008 at 9:48 pm #70224DreeMember
I had a bitch which would show “signs” after she was spayed. She would wee more, and act silly. ::) Dogs weren’t interested in her though. No swelling, no attracting dogs, etc.October 23, 2008 at 9:55 pm #70225AnonymousGuest
mmm apparently retained tissue can show really minimal signs … fingers crossed as they not seen her have another yet *crosses fingers*
