when i was at mams she told me how as a baby i didnt crawl on knees at all…at 7 months i got up onto all fours and moved like lightening across the lawn following roger…and she had to work hard at getting me to stand…and i finally walked upright at 9 months …she also reminded me of something i had forgotten  😀 that even up to the age of 18 i always went up the stairs on all fours ….and got told off big time for doing it at my sisters wedding at the age of 14 in a long red velvet frock that of course ripped  ;D  the odd thing is that since she reminded me i find myself doing it again…mo said last week ‘what a bloody sight ‘ as i scampered up the stairs with her behind me  😀

    ahhh…now there’s a thing  😀
i always always come down stairs upright but sideways with left bum cheek/hip and left elbow rubbing the wall in a sort of hopping motion…always have done…not as fast these days but as a kid i would fly  ;D always been moaned at for doing it as it rubs the surface…and you know what? my dogs do it just the same but doggy fashion…so have i adjusted a dog behaviour copied from roger and my dogs now adjust the other way and copy me  😀

i wonder how much of this early communication the wee lass will remember as she grows up

5 is too young i fear. But if dogs stay around her, i don’t think she will forget what she already learned from them.
