Groenendaelers luuuurve grooming

(Some of you know i love grooming my boys  :yes: . If i can do what ever i like and they trust me with their eyes closed, i know i got where i want to be. To me it means i’m in their head as much as they in mine.)

I am Wodan. My name is pronounced as impressive as i am; WOW-dahn. And i want my groom, daily, twice a day, aaaaall day preferably.
Plus… it no longer winter, so i not need this massive furry wintercoat no more. Specially look at my neck, schoulder, trouser and chesthair.

Nothing better than nice sunny day and master breaking his back to make me the most compfy ànd removing my loose wintercoat.

I’ll even put my feet up to make sure he does my tummy atleast 30 minutes.

And here i am, in my summercoat. Im 12 going on 13. But don’t i look all puppy-ish after a renewal antiwrinkle groom?  😀 Now i’m very soft and fluffy  ;D .

Impressive change from winter to summer wardrobe ha? The collarhair lenght restores itself within days. But it not as massive and not have the density like the wintercoat.

Awww what a little love!  You can see the enjoyment in his face when you’re grooming him.  I love grooming Rafe, too, about the only time I can get that close to him without him licking me and trying to jump all over me.

And he is very handsome after his groom!  (And before, of course!)

blimey he dropped his winter coat  😀 He looks gorgeous even in his ‘underwear’  :-* the look on his face is priceless Diesel  :-* he loves it doesnt he xx

Yep he did. Big difference ha? Yet, is nothing like what Lassie got. Last pic, there is a iron bucket on the right side behind Wodan. His entire wintercoat is in there, and as you can see, even still room left. When my boys start to shed, they shed within few days completely. Most can’t believe it, but honest, we almost have no doghair in the house  😉 .

And he love it, he does.  :yes:  Everytime you stop combing to get the hair out of the comb, you got a foot on your arm and a tongue in your ear asking for more  😀 .

He doesn’t have much grey for his age, my Meg had the head in flour look at that age lol!  😀

You are right Willow could fill that bucket a couple of times at least :yes:
When her coat is fully blown you fill the brush and comb after running it through her coat once or twice

Nope, for some reason he turned little less than this grey he got now when he was about 6 and it just stopped. About 2-3 years ago little more and it stopped again. I know a groenendaelergirl who is only 2 years older and she so grey in face she even got white eyebrows since she was about 11  ??? .

I remember you posted pics of all that hair last year. It was  😮 .
Does her hair fall out on the ground or stay in loose bushes between the summercoat too?

She gets great big loose clumps of it which I comb out as soon as they appear or she looks untidy
