Stick a foot picture up and I will let you know if he needs trimming I was just going on the fact that others had told you he needs doing

Sorry, I’m having another ‘blonde’ moment.  Why do you do anything to the top of the feet between the toes then?  What look are you trying to achieve?

Between the pads I can understand, tidy-up and make even.  Hocks I can understand, they just look messy if not cut.  And front leg feathering at the bottom can also be messy, but top of feet between the toes  …?

hiya, i would suggest picking the foot up and with a slicker brush, brush the foot against the lie of the hair growth so it fluffs out, place the foot back on the floor and if he has tufts sticking up above the natural shape of the foot take a pair of thinning scissors and pointing them towards his nails gently trim them away. If he has wispy bits around his nails take a pair of straight edged scissors and tidy them up, not too much you don’t want his nail exposing very much at all. Don’t trim between the toes or he will have what we cocker folk call chicken feet  ;D

Cockers carry a lot of thick fluffy fur between the toes BC’s carry long bits of hair that stick up if his feet need trimming

Really fed up  🙁 We had our doubts last time we picked Fritz up from the groomers – didn’t think they’d done a proper handstrip…
Anyway 10, maybe even 11 weeks later (today) we took him to a new place… first thing she said was ‘he’s been clipped’

    >:( I am sooooooooo cross with the last place!!!!! Am livid!

Anyway, she said she’d see what se can do… picking him up at 3.
We took some pics before we left this morning:

    Yes 11 till 3…

    Just got him back

She said it’s not as bad as she first thought. When we took him in the fur on his back was still fairly short, but she’s done a good job with what she had to work with. At least he still feels wirey. She said it might take some time but we will get it sorted.

Will up load some pics we just took

😮  What!  That is ridiculous!  Im not suprised you’re mad!  It annoys the hell out of me to hear of stuff like this, knowing what it is like in a salon.  Its shocking that they think they can just do what they like!  >:(

I know! I knew it wasn’t right when I picked him up last time – but I didn’t know for sure what she had done….. but whatever it was it was too late anyway  :-\  I think he’ll be fine, he does feel wiry now, altho it has taken 11 weeks to get that back and it still wasn’t long enought o warrant another stripping really.. she just tidied him up and did his face this time I think. It’s such a gamble with these things – you never know what they will do until you get him back.. I hate it, makes me so nervous.
    But then I think, get a grip it’s only a coat….. :-\ I don’t know…. Still feel cheated and ripped off  >:D

There is a big difference between a clipped coat and a stripped coat one looks cut the other lays naturally but four hours what was she doing one hair at a time?
A standing picture would of been a good one side on
