I just read on another site (U.S. hunting dog site) that a great number of people are routinely giving their dogs antibiotics DAILY as a preemptive measure against contraction of diseases such as lyme disease!!   

I don’t know much but this seems like a surefire way to completely destroy the dogs immune system and make them completely reliant on anti-b’s which they’ll eventually become immune to anyway  …and what poxy vets are prescribing them for no reason?  ???

I dunno, maybe i’m wrong  :-\

No you are not wrong.

If someone wants to ahve a very healthy anything the key is good breeding, superb nutrition, exercise etc.

There are no shortcuts to good health but many to poor health.
