puppy farmers are people who farm puppies. breeding lots different breeds in appalling conditions for money. they may or may not live on a farm . they breed a bitch over and over and never test the parents for health problems.
its very different from a real farmer who is breeding working dogs.
just thought I would add this, as the term puppy farmer usually refers to the first one :happy:

yep – vinya12 has said what i was trying to say obviously badly !! 🙂

wasnt suggesting u didnt know – just that there are good farmers and bad farmers that are also puppy farmers if ya gets me !  the good farmers would be looking to sell to shepherds i expect as they aint daft they know pet homes aint the best choice – they could co-ordinate more i expect and reduce the overall litter numbers.
