If they did a little less breeding and studied dog colour genetics they wouild know why they are coming through that colour

Does anyone know of a spoodle ,spaniel/poodle breeder? I saw one in the park on sunday & it was adorable, but an accident & as we lost our dearly loved Solo in june, she was a Beardie, we would like to have another dog next summer. Can’t seem to find any breeders on the net & would be grateful for any info.

    thank you

Solo, if you are after a crossbreed there are plenty born accidentally without going out and paying for one. And don’t be pulled into the trap of buying something you think is cute – spaniels & poodles have their fair share of health issues without being purposefully crossbred. If you want a crossbreed, look in the rescue centres. If you want a pedigree, look at the KC.

Our breed should NEVER be crossed with anything!!!. As you might know we have Neapolitan’s, which as I read have been around for many 100’s of years – It is rumoured that they were in fact used in the colluseam when the Roman’s got tired of throwing Christian’s to the Lion’s they threw them to a pack of Neo’s instead! ( I have NOTHING against Christian’s or any other religion!)

hi – mastiff type dogs were used as war dogs by the romans – they were all kitted up in armour with neck and leg spikes – cued to the horses too and a well trained one was said to be worth it’s weight in gold – famous line from Julius Caesar…. ‘cry havoc and let loose the dogs of war’ , many believe that the large breeds we have now are a result of the roman dogs being crossed with local breeds throughout the world during their time of invasion.
