does anyone know if/ how to track the acestry of a horse and possibly were it has come from. one of the horses that we have just got has lovely breeding and i have a list of 4 generation ancestry but would be interested in finding out were he has come from

is there anyway in tracking previouse owners or competitions done?

What sort of competitions did he compete in ?
BSJA is easy enough…same with BD registered ones.
Pink Papered Horses are easy enough to trace too.

Can’t say more  as unsure of which type you own & what comps were entered.

The H&H forum are usually great at tracking  records as there are many members  in many different spheres.

woofums, we have no idea what this horse has done (thats what im trying to find out) as we rescued him from slaughter, he is a welsh cob (section D), the only documents we have is his Welsh Pony & Cob Society passport. he also has fabulouse blood lines
