It was a lovely sunny morning so after a couple of hours work it was time to take a couple of the hounds out. Benson was going out with the OH so Ailla & Jago came with me.
Quick drive to Studland beach and we were off. Being a nice mornig there were plenty of walkers with and without dogs on the beach so I decided to walk through the dunes to a a lake called the Little Sea.
The view across Poole Bay

The walk behind the beach through the dunes is a lot quieter this time of the year than the beach itself but you have to be aware in the summer that part of the beach is a nudist beach and the naturist do use te dunes also. But not today
My two find water anywhere

Then it was the beach cafe on the way back to the truck for a large Hot Chocolate and a Ham, Pineapple & Mozzarella Panini. MMMM
Just the way to end a walk

March 7, 2009 at 7:43 pm #1116022clumbersandaillaMemberI used a Canon 40D today with a Canon 70-200mm f4L lens.
Bit of a lump to carry around but I’m used to it and I intended getting a few shots of the dogs today (257 :-[ :-[ :-[).

[/quote]I live at Upton so it’s a bit of 25 minut trip to Studland. We usually walk along the shore at Lake and Ham Common.
