    cuberts version

start postition wagging tail like crazy
carry on staring in the sky when object is thrown…or if in ground leap about like a loon say it there it there
am going…forgets to apply brakes – overshoots
    then has trouble locating it
f the body grab and run mouth it with gusto
    forget to brakes overshoots
lies down behind for 2 mins with muffled wowowing
presents by walking around my feet
finally shoves in hand and the sits barking

    heyho….more work me thinks

it depends what drive the dog has….ami ..didnt teach any of it except the formal present
if it breaks down at any point i just back chain from that one

Roflmao, sounds like a natural ;D

I think I’m screwed with Diz already. She’ll chase somthing, then as soon as its still move to the next exciting looking thing.
She’ll play fetch in the kitchen tho, if she’s in the mood that is!

SP…for me wait is a sustained behaviour…it doesnt have to be a sit it can be any position but mine know the difference of what i mean between a wait and a stay

they know that if i cue stay i am coming back to them so in the open car for example …i cue stay and they just settle down but if i cue wait the retain focus on me as they know i am going to cue them to do something else

then if you are serious about going to work her i would be back chaining this now…big difference between playing fetch in the kitchen and a formal retrieve

I’ll have a gander at what Sade is doing. I want to make up my mind what I want to do with her in the next week so I can get started, we’re due another baby next feb so I’d like to get as much underway as I can.
I think I’ll have to also go further afeild with looking at classes.
