Pro and pre – obviously both together is best coz the prebiotics help to maintain a gut environment which is beneficial for good bacteria, and helps them outcompete the bad. As you know, the probiotics provide extra beneficial bacteria.
Have recently learned (ta Bev!) that porridge oats make a great prebiotic. Or you can buy prebiotic powder at health food stores – called FOS (fructooligosaccharides). Bit easier to go for the porridge and just mix it with their din dins.
