My perfect little Labrador has started a habit I’d like him to stop  😀

Loki is not allowed on the sofa  :nono:

He is allowed at some people’s houses – if they invite him up. He has always been very good at knowing that he has to wait for an invitation and he has never been allowed or invited onto the sofa at home.

So – we have noticed that our cream sofa has suddenly got muddy paw prints and black hairs on it  😮 😮 😮  when we come home.

We have never seen him on the sofa… and he never tries to get up when we are in – must just be when we out… he’s done it about 3 days in a row now  ::)  having never done it ever before…

Can I stop it without just shutting the door so he doesn’t have access???

Hehe  ;D Crafty wee sod – Piper used to do this if we were out the room, I was cleaning the car once, looked through the lounge window and there she was all curled up and cosy on the sofa  >:D We refine her to the kitchen when we’re out so never needed to stop it really but will be interested as to how this is done  🙂

Have you tried leaving things on the sofa, Sarah? Fritz will not get up if there is even a piece of paper on the sofa. He just stares at it and then us giving us dirty looks. As soon as it is moved he’s up there  ::)

My old Terv used to do the exact same thing. Wasn’t allowed on the sofa…I’d go out and up he got! I snuck back and spied on him once that’s how I found out.  He showed absolutely no contrition whatsover  😀

Sadie is allowed on sofa and if there’s something in her way she’ll just kick it off  ::)  I really shouldn’t allow it but it makes me laugh  :embarrass:

    Good luck.

Honey will just lay on whatever is on the sofa – Buster will stare at it until it moves – he also tries that trick on HOney – who just gets up turns around and lays so she cant see his face  😀
