The KC have started including photos with tail.

Someone said it looked like the tail had been photoshopped on.  ;D I actually think the tail looks fine but not sure about the rest of the conformation of the tailed one.  :-\

And the conformation of the tailed one here….  :-X

And the Kennel Club have changed their site so I can’t find stuff.  >:D Well I don’t suppose that is actually why they did it  ;D but….

The overriding thing that strikes me is the differnce in the conformation  ::) by the time I had looked at that I never noticed the tails

I cannot see what is awful about the Weimaraner, a good specimen with a good correct tail.

It is just that people are not used to them, my first Weim bitch had a tail and it was fab and always commented on.

Of course with a longhaired Weim they come with tails anyway!  ;D

I am quite happy with tails – as long as they look like tails – but the conformation – viszla is the worst I would say….  :-X Tails are fine.  ;D The ones I can’t cope with are the dobes and rotties that get those curly ones – I think they definitely need straight tails.  😮

i’ve only ever seen one weim with a tail and just didn’t like it, guess it will just take time getting used to it – although i do think they look at lot better than the rotties and dobes do

That’s the Rottie tail – that’s the sort of tail I mean – nice and straight and not all curly.  ;D

If you see the continental rotts and dobes that have not been docked for years, they have the tails correct.

It will take time to breed for the correct tail in the UK.
