I’m not 100% sure Suz but I think it is because he looks to me to set the rules – as manager -when he is with pandy he sees him as a sibling or equal so to speak – but off the top of my head – need to have a fink about it really – but brain not in gear at moment

okay I am thinking that this is associative learning. Nacho associates me with sleeping through the night and associates Andy with getting up through night.

The relationship with Nacho and sleep and me – through the night – no getting up

not reinforced as such but well maybe reinforced is the word.  Nacho knows that if he gets up during the night I say “Nachos bed” and he goes back into bed.  If he gets up when he is with Pandy then Pandy gets up.  So nacho knows that there is no point getting up with me as I will send him back to bed with Pandy it is almost habitual – expected – learned behaviour – two o’clock – time for pee with pandy  ;D
