Peter Purves on GMTV 5th March 2009

Did any one see Peter Purves on GMTV this morning, giving the BBC a hard time for not broadcasting Crufts. 

He mainly wanted to say, whilst the Pedigree dogs programme was well researched it was heavily biased and sensationalised.

Good on him, even if he works for the BBC  :happy:

It was on about 08:25 this morning.  I have been searching the GM tv archieve to find it, but it does not seem to be there.

He was defending the majority of breeders and the dogs, pointing out that humans suffer illness too.  He even had some Old English Mastiffs with him of about 8 years old.

just wish I could find it on line to post here.

I am very sorry, I have spelt his name wrong.  I will be editing all the posts to reflect the correct spelling.

He was on form, one of the presenters said something about the RSPCA, his reply, was that they had never supported this event but merely had a trade stand at it ! brilliant ;D
