Hey everyone! Ash and I have been discussing Meg’s need to rip up the post that comes through the door! If we are here she barks but doesn’t touch it! If we are out the generally she shreds some (not all) of the mail! Postcards are her fave!!
Sooooo…. We thought we could turn the post into a positive thing! We want to teach her to pick it up and put it on the coffee table. obviously we would start easy – touching an envelope and progess to picking up the envelope etc! Any tips on this would be gratefully recieved!
But…..are we setting ourselves up for trouble! How eventually will we get her to do it when we out? Will the postman be her cue? will she end up sitting and waiting for the postman? Will she be disappointed if we don’t get any mail!!!!!! Thought this might also help with her door manners as if she is waiting for the post to come through the door she may wait nice! Or……will she have the postmans fingers off in anticipation!
