Have just found a butcher who actually sells pig trotters (he also had free bones) but do they get fed instead of a meal?  Kizzie and Millie usually have two chicken wings each for breakfast and then meat and biscuits for tea, so lwould they have a pigs trotter instead or as well.  Assume they have to be frozen first and are then feed raw.  Thank you 🙂

i dont feed them raw or as a meal….i dry them out as there is a lot of skin on them…so they get them as a treat on high exercise days

There is no need to freeze trotters before feeding them; I feed them as a meal usually in the summer when they can have them outside and entertain the neighbours!

My butchers give me all sorts of bones along with chicken carcasses for the dogs and quite often there are pigs trotters in the bottom of the bag – yuk!

But anyway some of mine eat them and I just give them raw.
