    Hi

i was on the board 2 years ago with a puppy but it didnt work out for personal reasons, not anything to do with pup.

things have moved on (considerably) and i now find myself with a 7 month black lab rescue!!

before you all ask for pictures, i cant find my usb for the phone but i will try to sort it out at the weekend when my brother will be around, so patience lol.

i have been bev’ed so to speak so am on the right track for him. i will post on puppy training the highs and lows.

his name is Max BTW and he is adorable

Hi Izzie, glad you got back ok, allbeit the long way!!  Max fell in love with Jess, she told him straight how to be nice didnt she.

    more info on Max

Max is 7 months old black lab. he was socialised until about 12 weeks old, then it stopped due to family circumstances. now i think about it hes coming up 8 months.

as Bev said, he is a puppy in mind and experience but a bruiser of a dog, not a good combination lol. but he has a good and gentle nature, if a bit excitable.

the outside world is amazing to him and he wants to know/see/smell it NOW.

little steps atm, getting to the shop up the road and watch the world go past is megga but hes doing good.
clicker training hes picked up quick, will post more on basic training (not puppy training, there isnt one :embarrass:
