;D hi Yes this topic is to do with dogs!
I was wondering whether anyone could suggest a suitable ๐ dog friendly holiday park…could be in Devon Dorset Somerset or cornwall…Ideally somewhere rural ~walks from the doorstep~ sort of thing! I am thinking of buying a static caravan in a park that doesn’t have leisure facilities ~just a quiet hideaway!July 31, 2008 at 11:05 am #108979AnonymousGuesthi,
well i stayed in a lovely one in swanage – clean park, friendly people, allow dogs, there is a swimming pool/bar but its well away from vans.
walks straight off the site and beach walks off-season are in walking distance – in season, small drive away.
if its not too far along – the lady u need to ask what park is Val ๐

Thanx for all that info…AND the great pics…love the two knackered dogs But how do they look sooooo clean?! It’s a delight to see some blue sky as well!
We stayed at Wareham last year in a S/C cottage & visited Durlston Park an idyllic place…Never thought there was a caravan park near there …Will look into it…I’ve been searching on Google Earth which gives a bird’s eye view…July 31, 2008 at 8:30 pm #108985SuzAndTheDivaMemberJealous! August 1, 2008 at 9:03 am #108987AnonymousGuestHi,
the van we stayed in belongs to a friend of Vals who kindly allowed us to stay in it for the week ๐
and …
quote :how do they look sooooo cleanerm… out of respect for Val’s friend as the van is spotless – and if they can keep it that way with their umpteen dogs, we figured that it was only right to do the same ๐
the van has a garden area for drying off dogs with a little fence and gate so they were out there alot of the time or under the van as it was cool there.ย we just put blankets/water/toys outside and they pottered out there fine in the day ๐
Claire x
