That young Dougal Dog!

Well he’s 2 years old today and celebrated by winning his first CC yesterday at the popular Christmas Collie Association Champ Show with 119 dogs entered – I’m told the biggest entry this year! 

I’ve always only kept a few in the house and as you all know, I’m down to just Hermione.  My daughter Hannah has 2 pet bitches and only Dougal to show.  All the BIG breeders were there from all over the country and Dougal did it, under an ‘old’ breed judge who we’ve never even said ‘Hello’ to (the same as all of our tickets have been won over the years!) so it just shows that ‘little people’ with a good dog CAN get to the top against the big breeders.  ;D
