    Muscle tone is coming back

she is setting the pace with exercise – which I thought she would.

but she has a lump on the leg – not sure if it the stitches (which are supposedly dissolvable) or what

other than that she seems fine, it still tender to touch

If a lump comes up- which is hard to the touch, but you can move the lump is it worth taking to the vet asap or can it possibly wait?  :-\

Esp if said lump is in an area where an amputation is?

    :-\ :-\ :-\

Bearing in mind am at college next week, have only got Jess to work with

the internal stitches seem to be making an attempt to get out too.

Think I will ring them tomorrow and ask.

Obviously ringing vet good plan – but just in case useful – when you break a bone often a callous (callus? sp?) forms as part of the healing process – I got one in my foot when my horse broke it years ago  :-\

I just wondered if it might form after the amputation too?  Maybe worth asking vet tho?
