Actually I have discovered that someone has hacked into this genuine site and thus portrayed the original owner to be as sick as the hacker……..

That could do his reputation some real damage 😮 what a sick thing to do 🙁
The site is still the same, would have thought it would be better to close it for a while rather than leave the ‘other interests’ on line

hi,

the thought did cross my mind SP 🙁

if you know them – i would get them to contact their ISP and take the site down until they have sorted their security out. he may also be able to claim for damages against the ISP depending on what his contract says and legal stuff.
