Thanks for the help everyone. She had panacur paste for her worming, no side effects.
Been away for a long time…… but i thought I’d update.
Latifah is a carrier of VWD,after having her swabbed and tested. We never proceeded with anything after this, at least we know that latifah is healthy and the vwd will never affect her. I fell pregnant just after this and we agreed to just let life be, as the stress wasn’t required. i had seeked legal advise and a case was/is valid, i just hope others look into things before they purchased their puppy. Lesson learnt the hard way.February 24, 2009 at 8:22 pm in reply to: Leapdog.org puts walkers in touch with dogs needing exercise #89107
I would worry about something happening with my own dog, i.e magically gets loose, another dog attacks her, my own mother worries about taking my dog out incase something happens to her, how would you feel about someone else? The idea in principle makes sense, but who would be insured and liable if something was to happen. Would the walkers be checked, i’d be worried about her being stolen. but thats me, worry worry worry.
But it would give a great new lease of life to those poor old souls stuck inside whilst their parents go out/work!
Sounds a bit like my old grandad who’d let the cats lick the cream off the milk and then put it in your tea. Soon learnt to bring our own.
I read about this in the mirrior earlier, what would make a couple dogs do this? The other paper said the dogs would be put down. Yet the owner is released on bail.
i’ll put a list in the kitchen, see what we’ve got. thanks for all the ideas!
I’ve just bounced banana all over my kitchen, filled kong with mashed banana, put it out the way then knocked it off…….bounce…….banana…….bounce……a bit more banana up the walls, in the washing, across the floor everywhere but in the kong.
fortunatley we’ve wipe clean floors, wood all the way.
Latifah loves a football, although she pops them before they become a favourite. Latifah likes to take soft toys she has a thing for tigers and monkeys, as a younger pup shed walk around with a tony the tiger. Nowdays Latifah tends to prefer plastic bottles, on almost every walk she picks one up and carries and crunches it, when she gets home she nolonger wants it and we put in the recycle bin. People call her the recycle dog or eco warrior.
Latifah loses interest in fetch, a few goes and she loses all interest. She prefers digging up rocks in the sand, and playing with other dogs.
Latifah has always put more water on the floors than she drinks, although i normally get the excess on my lap.
Thanks  will do that tonight, see if she likes it tomorrow.
Banana or natural yogurt, can’t do any nuts as we’ve an anphylatic in the house.
Hi and welcome, from Sam and Latifah.
Latifah has a complete biscuit food, plus she had extra rice yesterday. I think temptation took over, she coming to that teenage era in her life as shes nearly two.
Thanks Rafe, Latiafh welcomes you to the dark side, or at least the greedy one.
The only other vice Latifah has is a dirty dishwasher she just can’t leave it alone, she has to be shut away.February 8, 2009 at 7:22 pm in reply to: sicko "breeder" gains planning for boarding kennels !!! #90922

Well said Farrokh, I’m sure farrokh is to you as Latifah is to us. Both dogs from the same place, both to very happy healthy homes. We wouldn’t change them for the world.
