thanx Val, was curious as I met one in the park the other day, guy said they were great with kids etc in the same breath stating it was trained to bite 😮
Reason Im asking is for a future mal pup (have breeder in mind, you all know her lol :))
I would love to show the pup (done so lightly in the past) but the fact alot of the top kennels go done the “dry” route kinda threw me, maybe large numbers of dogs and convenience??
I do prefer the idea of totally natural, , included meat bones etc previously but never went all out BARF which seems so much more appealing 🙂
Hi and welcome 😀
Hi and welcome , any piccys?? 🙂
Run free pupster :-* 🙁 xxx
Thank-you everyone for your kind words, I feel like Ive lost my shadow and I will always miss him.
My dad passed away last October of cancer and he and Nero were very close too, so at least he’s got a friendly face u there
Run free Ice, no more pain xxx
OK so were starting a book club apparently. Book will be posted to Kerrie and Stan and from there… who knows ;D

thank doG 😀
9/10 in 99 seconds ;D
The more mals the better, we need to overtake those pesky gundogs >:D
Welcome to the world which will soon be upside down for you ;). I’d recommend puppy classes as soon as the pup is able as mals are not the easiest dogs to train and its great to have some help. Master the basics and find a good ringcraft club in your area and visit a few shows, mal exhibitors are normally happy to help out others.
Start as you mean to go on hun, because that cute ball of fluff curled up on the sofa next to you will soon grow into a malamonster, and changing the rules when they get bigger will cause both of you alot of problems. Just one more thing a friend said to me and it has rung true,
The Alaskan Malamute is not a breed, its a way of life ;D
Great! Now if I can convince Sean to run around a field with one of the chihuahuas lol….
He says once his arm heals a bit he PROMISES he’ll come, at least he’s still helping with sled training. He wants to try Nero but I’ve told him he can do it himself! 😉
Just a bit concerned about jump heights, my two are only ickle :-[
Mind you if they can boss a 70 pound mamalute around…. 8)
Oooh, thats quite near actually! Do you have any more details Mudgie?
You never know, we might show Nacho up 😉 (more like they’ll show me up tho lol ::))
Do you think they’ll have small enough jumps 😮
